In Memoriam

Jane Doe, 87, of The Villages, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025. Born April 3, 1938 in Dayton, Ohio, Jane was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who brought warmth and grace to every room she entered.

A lifelong member of the United Methodist Church, Jane sang in her church choir for over forty years. She and her husband John moved to The Villages in 2004, where she became a beloved figure in her community — organizing garden club meetings, volunteering at the local library, and hosting Sunday dinners that her grandchildren still talk about.

She is survived by her husband John of 61 years; her children Mary (Michael) Roe of Portland, Oregon, and James (Linda) Doe of Naperville, Illinois; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the local public library in Jane's memory.
