Dorothy Mae Williams, 87, of The Villages, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025. Born April 3, 1938 in Dayton, Ohio, Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who brought warmth and grace to every room she entered.

A lifelong member of the United Methodist Church, Dorothy sang in her church choir for over forty years. She and her husband Robert moved to The Villages in 2004, where she became a beloved figure in her community — organizing garden club meetings, volunteering at the local library, and hosting Sunday dinners that her grandchildren still talk about.

She is survived by her husband Robert of 61 years; her children Susan (Mark) Patterson of Portland, Oregon, and James (Carol) Williams of Naperville, Illinois; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Villages Regional Library in Dorothy's memory.
